The current Dr Das live show features Dr Das on bass and voice, Bantu on Akai MPC and dubbing and Ramjac on djembe and percussion. The approach is 'Dubprovisation'. Three way improvisation and musical interaction, the idea being to stretch out and decimate the original song structures.
Laura B's unique brand of chilled, progressive, yet beatsy and organic electronica has graced live stages to critical acclaim across the globe including gigs in Japan, America, India and closer to home as a key part of the legendary Big Chill festival here in the UK. There is no doubt that she has brought a very inspirational slant to the 'Post-Chill' genre, mixing analog bleeps and bloops with her own breathy vox, all mixed with deeply atmospheric soundscapes and textured breakbeats.
